Genesis 29:6-12

6He said to them, “Is it well with him?” They said, “It is well; and see, Rachel his daughter is coming with the sheep!” 7He said, “Behold, it is still high day; it is not time for the livestock to be gathered together. Water the sheep and go, pasture them.” 8But they said, “We cannot until all the flocks are gathered together and the stone is rolled from the mouth of the well; then we water the sheep.”

9While he was still speaking with them, aRachel came with her father’s sheep, for she was a shepherdess. 10Now as soon as Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother’s brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother’s brother, Jacob came near and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth and watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother. 11Then Jacob kissed Rachel and wept aloud. 12And Jacob told Rachel that he was bher father’s kinsman, and that he was Rebekah’s son, cand she ran and told her father.

Genesis 29:18

18Jacob loved Rachel. And he said, d“I will serve you seven years for your younger daughter Rachel.”

Genesis 30:1-2

1When Rachel saw that eshe bore Jacob no children, she envied her sister. She said to Jacob, “Give me children, or I shall die!” 2Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, fwho has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”

Genesis 30:22

22Then God gremembered Rachel, and God listened to her and hopened her womb.

Genesis 35:19-20

19So iRachel died, and she was buried on the way to jEphrath (that is, Bethlehem), 20and Jacob set up a pillar over her tomb. It is kthe pillar of Rachel’s tomb, which is there to this day.

Genesis 46:19-22

19The sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife: Joseph and Benjamin. 20And lto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera the priest of mOn, bore to him. 21And nthe sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, Ashbel, Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim, and Ard. 22These are the sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacobfourteen persons in all.

Genesis 48:7

7As for me, when I came from Paddan, to my sorrow oRachel died in the land of Canaan on the way, when there was still some distance
Or about two hours’ distance
to go to Ephrath, and I buried her there on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).”

1 Samuel 10:2

2When you depart from me today, you will meet two men by qRachel’s tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah, and they will say to you, r‘The donkeys that you went to seek are found, and now syour father has ceased to care about the donkeys and is anxious about you, saying, “What shall I do about my son?”’

Jeremiah 31:15
